Laminate Ramp Profile Door Bars

The Laminate Ramp bar is the right choice when two floors meet at a doorway and one sits higher than the other. It tapers from the higher surface down to the lower and covers height differences of 4 to 12mm with the fixing track in place. For larger differences of up to 16mm, glue the bar directly to the subfloor without the track. If the two floors sit at the same height, you need a T Bar instead.

The Ramp profile sits over the join with no exposed edge and no trip hazard. It also works where laminate meets carpet, tile, vinyl or another hard floor sitting at a lower level.

Each Laminate Ramp Bar comes with a fixing track as standard. Screw the track to the subfloor first, then press the bar into the clip. You only need adhesive when the subfloor cannot take screws or you are fitting over underfloor heating.

The Laminate Ramp Bar comes in 20 colours - covering oak, walnut, grey and white tones to match popular laminate floor ranges. Each colour is additionally available in 0.9m and 2.4m lengths. The 0.9m covers most standard doorways. The 2.4m suits wider openings or cut it down to give two lengths from one bar.

Not sure which Laminate Ramp Bar colour matches your floor? Simply send a small offcut to our Paignton depot for the attention of Molly or Sean. We will photograph the closest match and email it back the same day. The Colour Matching Service is free.
