3mm LVT Trims for Stick-Down Vinyl Installations

These 3mm LVT trims suit stick-down vinyl where standard door bars and stair nosings are too thick for the floor. The M and W profiles sit flush with the finished surface once the LVT is down. The Edging Strip sits around 3mm above - barely visible at the floor edge. Each trim comes with screws and rawl plugs and measures 2.7m in length.

The Three 3mm LVT Trims in This Range

The Minimalistic Nosing (M) is the stair nosing trim in this range - it fixes to both the tread and the riser face on stairs. Screw the 35mm base to the tread and the 20mm drop to the riser before the LVT goes down. Feather the compound in around both, then lay the LVT over them. Once the floor is down, only the 6mm rounded nose sits visible at the front of each tread - the most low-profile of the 3mm LVT trims in this range.

The Edging Strip (U) covers exposed floor edges at fireplaces, doorways, and wall ends. The LVT slides into the channel for a clean, low-profile finish. Furthermore, the Step To Riser Trim (W) sits at the base of each riser. It covers the joint where the tread meets the riser face below. Both the W trim and the Edging Strip also work at wall bases. Run them together along the bottom of the wall where you have removed standard skirting for a clean perimeter finish. All three aluminium LVT trims are designed to work together on the same installation.
