A wood effect l shape nosing covers the exposed edge of a hard floor. It drops down to protect and finish the side. The L-shape profile wraps over the floor edge at a right angle. This gives a clean finish with no raw edge on show. Furthermore, no fixing track, no screws, and no drilling are needed. Simply peel the backing and press firmly into place.

Where to Use a Self Adhesive L-Shape Nosing

This nosing suits hard floors where the floor has an exposed edge that needs a clean, protective finish. As a result, it works well at stair edges, patio doors, bifold doors, front door thresholds, fireplaces, and mat wells. It also works where a hard floor meets carpet or a lower surface. The L-shape covers the floor edge and holds the transition neatly in place. Please note - do not stick directly onto carpet, as the adhesive will not bond to a soft surface.

Choosing Between the 10mm and 18mm Drop

The drop measurement refers to how far the vertical face of the L-shape Nosing hangs down from the floor surface. Simply measure the actual height of your floor from subfloor to surface to choose the right version. If your floor sits at 10mm or above, the 10mm drop covers the edge neatly. However, for taller floors sitting at 18mm or above, choose the 18mm drop instead. If in doubt, always measure before ordering. The wrong drop will leave a gap at the bottom of the vertical face.
