The drop measurement refers to how far the vertical face of the L-Shape hangs down from the floor surface. To choose the right version, simply measure the actual height of your floor. If your floor sits at 10mm or above, the 10mm drop covers the edge neatly. For taller floors sitting at 18mm or above, choose the 18mm drop instead. This gives a better fit and fuller coverage down the floor edge. As a general rule, thicker floors will need the 18mm drop. If in doubt, always measure the full floor height from subfloor to surface before ordering.

Where to Use an Arctic White L-Shape Nosing

This nosing suits LVT, vinyl click, stick-down vinyl, laminate, and tile floors. Use it anywhere the floor has an exposed edge that needs a clean, protective finish. It works well at stair edges, patio doors, bifold doors, front door thresholds, fireplaces, and mat wells. The L-Shape profile wraps over the floor edge at a 90 degree right angle and drops down to cover the side, giving a clean finish with no raw edge on show. It also works where a hard floor meets carpet or a lower surface, as the L-Shape covers the floor edge and holds the transition neatly in place. Before fitting, the surface must be clean, dry, and free of dust or debris. As a result, any contamination on the base will reduce the adhesive bond.
