The American Oak Waterproof Ramp suits LVT and click vinyl floors at height-difference joins. A light golden-yellow oak with a clean, straight grain – the tone sits warm and bright, closer to a classic honey oak than a pale or washed finish. The grain pattern can make some bars appear slightly different to others – this is normal variation within the colour. 45mm wide, 3.8mm on the low side and 12mm on the high side. Covers height differences of 5-10mm with the fixing track, or up to 13mm where the bar bonds directly to the subfloor. N3354 comes in 2.2m only, suiting both standard domestic doorways and wider openings. A fixing track is included.

The american oak waterproof ramp is a warm golden oak ramp bar for LVT and click vinyl floors. A light golden-yellow oak with a clean, straight grain running through the surface – the tone sits warm and bright rather than muted, closer to a classic honey oak than a pale or washed finish. The grain lines are fine and fairly even, giving a tidy, traditional oak character. A 100% waterproof WPC core runs through the full depth of the bar. It covers height differences of 5-10mm with the fixing track, or up to 13mm where the bar bonds directly to the subfloor. The bar measures 45mm wide, 3.8mm on the low side and 12mm on the high side.
The american oak waterproof ramp suits hallways, kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and conservatories across the UK. In addition, warm golden oak and honey oak LVT floors are a popular choice in UK new builds and renovations, making this a practical match for a wide range of installations. It also suits doorways where a hard floor meets a slightly lower surface, or where two floors sit at different heights on either side. The 100% waterproof WPC core handles kitchen and bathroom thresholds without issue. Alternatively, the wood effect self-adhesive door bars offer a peel-and-stick option across a wide range of colours.
Remember to measure twice, cut once. A chopsaw or jigsaw cuts the American Oak bar cleanly to length. Always wear eye protection when cutting. The American Oak bar then clips onto a fixing track included in the pack. The track screws to the subfloor, or bonds down with adhesive where screwing is not possible. Where the height difference reaches 13mm, the bar bonds directly to the subfloor without the track. Likewise, the bar presses into place once the floor is laid on both sides.
