The American Oak Waterproof Nosing suits LVT and click vinyl stair treads at the nosing edge. A light golden-yellow oak with a clean, straight grain – the tone sits warm and bright, closer to a classic honey oak than a pale or washed finish. The grain pattern can make some bars appear slightly different to others – this is normal variation within the colour. 55mm wide, 3.8mm above the tread and 18mm total height. Comes in 2.2m only with a fixing track included.

The american oak waterproof nosing is a warm golden oak stair nosing for LVT and click vinyl stairs. A light golden-yellow oak with a clean, straight grain running through the surface – the tone sits warm and bright rather than muted, closer to a classic honey oak than a pale or washed finish. The grain lines are fine and fairly even, giving a tidy, traditional oak character. A 100% waterproof WPC core runs through the full depth of the bar. The bar measures 55mm wide, sits 3.8mm above the tread and has a total height of 18mm.
The waterproof nosing suits staircases where LVT or click vinyl runs up the treads. In particular, warm golden oak and honey oak floors are a popular choice in UK new builds and renovations, and a matching stair nosing keeps the finish consistent from floor to staircase. The 100% waterproof WPC core suits bathroom and utility room stairs without issue. Specifically, the laminate stair nosing range offers the same profile style in a different material. In addition, the waterproof vinyl L shape range carries this colour in the L-shape profile.
Remember to measure twice, cut once. Use a chopsaw or jigsaw to cut the American Oak waterproof nosing to length. Always wear eye protection when cutting. The fixing track is included in the pack, however for stairs, bonding and pinning gives a more secure fix. Apply a strong adhesive to the tread and press the nosing firmly into position. Pin through the bar while the adhesive sets to hold it in place.
N3354 comes in 2.2m only. Typically you’ll get two standard stair treads out of one 2.2m length. Furthermore, the full waterproof vinyl stair nosing range covers over 60 colours if American Oak is not the right match. If you need help confirming a colour, the colour matching service is free.
