The American Oak L Shape suits LVT and click vinyl stair treads at the nosing edge. A light golden-yellow oak with a clean, straight grain – the tone sits warm and bright, closer to a classic honey oak than a pale or washed finish. The grain pattern can make some bars appear slightly different to others – this is normal variation within the colour. 21mm wide, 3mm above the tread, 11mm external drop and 8mm internal drop. Comes in 2.2m only with no fixing track – bond direct to the stair tread.

The american oak l shape is a warm golden oak stair nosing for LVT and click vinyl stairs. A light golden-yellow oak with a clean, straight grain running through the surface – the tone sits warm and bright rather than muted, closer to a classic honey oak than a pale or washed finish. The grain lines are fine and fairly even, giving a tidy, traditional oak character. A 100% waterproof WPC core runs through the full depth of the bar. It fits to the nosing edge of each stair tread, covering the step edge and dropping down the riser face. The bar measures 21mm wide, sits 3mm above the tread, with an 11mm external drop and an 8mm internal drop.
The american oak l shape suits staircases where LVT or click vinyl runs up the treads. In addition, warm golden oak and honey oak floors are a popular choice in UK new builds and renovations, and a matching stair nosing keeps the finish consistent from floor to staircase. Remember to measure twice, cut once. A chopsaw or jigsaw cuts the American Oak L Shape cleanly to length. Always wear eye protection when cutting. The American Oak L Shape then fits without a fixing track. Bond it directly to the stair tread using a strong flooring adhesive. Press each piece firmly into position and allow the adhesive to set fully before use.
The American Oak L Shape comes in 2.2m only. One 2.2m length covers the full width of most UK domestic staircases.
