The Syrup Flat Bar for Same-Height Floor Joins

The Syrup Flat Bar in SA97 is part of the All-In-All Wood Effect Self-Adhesive door bar range. This Syrup finish is a strong reddish tone with a merbau character – more red than brown, vibrant and warm with a natural visible grain. It sits naturally alongside floors with a deep reddish or merbau finish and suits warm, bold interiors. No fixing track, no screws, no drilling. Simply peel the backing, press the bar firmly into place, and the fitting takes seconds. This listing also covers both 0.9m and 2.7m lengths.

Where to Use a Syrup Flat Bar

This bar suits hard floors where both surfaces in a doorway meet at the same height or within a couple of millimetres of each other. The flat profile sits directly across the join and the self-adhesive backing bonds to the hard floor surface beneath. Before fitting, the base must be clean, dry, and flat. As a result, any dust or debris under the bar will reduce the bond. If the floors sit at different heights, the SA97 Ramp Bar comes in the same Syrup finish and covers both lengths.

Fitting the SA97 Self-Adhesive Flat Bar

Overall, fitting is straightforward. Measure the doorway and cut the bar to length using a chopsaw or hacksaw. Then clean the floor surface where the bar will sit and remove the protective backing strip. Press the bar firmly down along its full length. Hold steady pressure for a few seconds to let the adhesive bond. Finally, keep foot traffic off the bar for a short time after fitting to let the bond settle fully. No specialist tools, no drilling, no screws, and no track needed.

Lengths

The SA97 Syrup Flat Bar comes in two lengths. Simply choose 0.9m for single doorways or 2.7m for wider openings and longer runs. In addition, if you need help choosing a shade, All-In-All offer a free postal colour matching service. Simply post a small flooring offcut to the team and they will then photograph the closest match and email it back the same day.
