The Alfie Grey Waterproof End Bar finishes an exposed floor edge on LVT and click vinyl floors. It suits doorways where there is no adjoining surface on the other side. The base is a clean, even light grey with very little colour variation across the face. The grain is fine and straight with no warm or brown undertone – this sits as a pure, flat cool grey. Overall, it suits neutral and modern interiors where a clean, pale grey wood-effect floor sets a calm, understated tone. The bar is 36mm wide, sitting 3.8mm above the floor on the visible side and covering the floor edge and drop below neatly. A 100% waterproof WPC core runs through the full depth of the bar.
This WPC end bar suits hallways, kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and conservatories across the UK. In particular, it works well at step-down thresholds where the floor drops away on one side with no adjoining surface. It also suits raised floor edges at sliding door openings and anywhere the floor runs to a fixed structure. Pale grey and wood-effect floors are a popular choice in UK new builds and modern renovations. This makes it a practical colour match. Specifically, the wood effect self-adhesive door bars cover a similar colour range if a peel-and-stick option suits better.
This WPC end bar clips onto a fixing track included in the pack. The track screws to the subfloor, or bonds down with adhesive where screwing is not possible. Additionally, the bar presses onto the track once the floor is laid. Finally, use a chopsaw or jigsaw to cut to length.
LP10 comes in 1.1m only, suiting standard domestic floor edges. Furthermore, the full waterproof click vinyl end bar range covers over 60 colours if this is not the right match.
