The Natural Slate Waterproof End Bar finishes an exposed floor edge on LVT and click vinyl floors where there is no adjoining floor on the other side. Soft, cloudy stone movement runs across the surface with irregular patches of slightly lighter and darker tones blending together without hard edges. The surface reads as natural slate throughout with no grain – the variation is subtle and mottled in character. Overall, it suits contemporary and minimal interiors where a stone or tile-effect floor sets a clean, neutral tone. At 36mm wide and 3.8mm above the floor on the visible side, the bar covers the floor edge and the drop below neatly. A 100% waterproof WPC core runs through the full depth of the bar.
This WPC end bar suits hallways, kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and conservatories across the UK. In particular, it works well at step-down thresholds where the floor drops away on one side with no adjoining surface. It also suits raised floor edges at sliding door openings and anywhere an LVT or click vinyl floor terminates without a wall to finish against. Stone and tile-effect floors are a popular choice in UK new builds, making this a practical colour match for a wide range of installations. Specifically, the tile effect self-adhesive door bars cover a similar colour range if a peel-and-stick option suits better.
This WPC end bar clips onto a fixing track included in the pack. The track screws to the subfloor, or bonds down with adhesive where screwing is not possible. Additionally, the bar presses onto the track once the floor is laid. Finally, use a chopsaw or jigsaw to cut to length.
T1000 comes in 1.1m and 2.2m lengths. The 1.1m length suits standard domestic doorway widths. Meanwhile, the 2.2m length covers wider openings and longer runs.
