The Distressed Tudor Oak Waterproof End Bar finishes an exposed floor edge on LVT and click vinyl floors where there is no adjoining floor on the other side. The surface sits close to an espresso tone and is the darkest finish in the distressed range. A fine, tight texture runs across the face with subtle distressing that reads as a brushed, worked surface rather than heavy grain movement. The colour remains consistent across the face with minimal tonal variation. Overall, it suits interiors where a very dark, dramatic floor finish sets the tone. At 36mm wide and 3.8mm above the floor on the visible side, the bar covers the floor edge and the drop below neatly. A 100% waterproof WPC core runs through the full depth of the bar.
This WPC end bar suits hallways, kitchens, bathrooms, utility rooms and conservatories across the UK. In particular, it works well at step-down thresholds where the floor drops away on one side with no adjoining surface. It also suits raised floor edges at sliding door openings and anywhere an LVT or click vinyl floor terminates without a wall to finish against. Very dark dramatic oak floors are a popular choice in UK renovations and contemporary interiors, making this a practical colour match. Specifically, the wood effect self-adhesive door bars cover a similar colour range if a peel-and-stick option suits better.
This WPC end bar clips onto a fixing track included in the pack. The track screws to the subfloor, or bonds down with adhesive where screwing is not possible. Additionally, the bar presses onto the track once the floor is laid. Finally, use a chopsaw or jigsaw to cut to length.
D152 comes in 1.1m and 2.2m lengths. The 1.1m length suits standard domestic doorway widths. Meanwhile, the 2.2m length covers wider openings and longer runs.
