Monosil P is the adhesive of choice for glue-down installations – solid wood, engineered boards and multi-layer pre-finished floors on concrete or wood subfloors, with or without underfloor heating. It will not bleed through or mark the coating on pre-finished boards – a common problem with cheaper adhesives.
Once cured it is elastic, which allows the floor to expand and contract naturally without cracking the bond.

Monosil P is a single-component silane-based flooring adhesive used for gluing solid wood and engineered wood flooring directly to the subfloor. It is the adhesive of choice for glue-down installations – solid wood, engineered boards and multi-layer pre-finished floors on concrete or wood subfloors, with or without underfloor heating.
It will not bleed through or mark the coating on pre-finished boards – a common problem with cheaper adhesives. Monosil P, once cured is elastic, which allows the floor to expand and contract naturally without cracking the bond. Important for solid wood floors in particular.
No water, solvents, isocyanates or heavy metals. EC1 classified for very low VOC emission. Sold in 12kg tubs. Average coverage 1m2 per kg.
Open time 45-60 minutes. Ready for foot traffic after 24 hours.
