Sizing and cutting

The white laminate scotia beading profile is 15mm x 15mm and comes in 2.4m lengths. One length covers a standard doorway section or a short skirting run. For longer runs, simply measure the total length needed and calculate how many lengths to order. Where two pieces meet at an internal corner, cut the ends at 45 degrees for a clean mitre joint. However, where a length meets a door architrave or external corner, a straight cut is all you need.

How to fix white floor beading 

Fix with a pin gun into the skirting board at 45 degrees. Do not pin into the floor. Pinning into the floor locks the boards in place and causes them to buckle as they try to expand. The beading must therefore only be fixed to the skirting so the floor remains free to move underneath it.
