The Silver Square Edge Bar gives a clean, professional finish to exposed carpet edges where the carpet ends without meeting another floor. Made from anodised aluminium, it holds the cut edge securely, prevents fraying, and sits flush against the surface for a result that looks neat and lasts.

 When to use a Silver Square Edge Bar

This is the bar to reach for when the carpet needs a neat edge rather than a join. The most common situations are in front of a fireplace hearth where carpet meets a stone or tiled surround. It also works well around a recessed coir mat or entrance mat to frame all four cut edges. Use it at external thresholds where the carpet terminates without an adjoining floor, or at the base of a raised step where the carpet edge needs finishing off.

 Why Silver

The silver anodised aluminium finish ties in with silver door handles, hinges, and hardware throughout the room. If you have gold fittings, the same bar is available in gold aluminium.

 Lengths And Cutting

Available in 2.7m. Cuts cleanly with a hacksaw or mitre saw to any length you need, so one length covers most jobs including full mat well frames and wider fireplace runs.

 Fitting

Fitting a Silver Square Edge is straightforward. Adhesive or nail fix the base to the subfloor, tuck the carpet edge under the profile, and press down firmly. No track required. The aluminium profile is hardwearing enough for busy domestic thresholds and holds its finish over time without corroding or discolouring.
