The Rutland Grey L Shape suits LVT and click vinyl stair treads at the nosing edge. Bold, dark grain lines run in a strong, flowing pattern against a blue-grey base, giving a dramatic contrast. On some bars the grain runs heavier and darker, making the whole bar read darker overall – this is normal variation within the colour. 21mm wide, 3mm above the tread, 11mm external drop and 8mm internal drop. Comes in 2.2m only with no fixing track – bond direct to the stair tread. Note: Rutland Grey CSPC704 uses the same colour vinyl as Buckingham Grey H04 – if your bar arrives with that code don’t panic, it is the correct product.

The rutland grey l shape is a blue-grey stair nosing for LVT and click vinyl stairs. Bold, dark grain lines run in a strong, flowing pattern against a blue-grey base, giving a dramatic contrast. On some bars the grain runs heavier and darker, making the whole bar read darker overall than others in the same colour. A 100% waterproof WPC core runs through the full depth of the bar. It fits to the nosing edge of each stair tread, covering the step edge and dropping down the riser face. The bar measures 21mm wide, sits 3mm above the tread, with an 11mm external drop and an 8mm internal drop.
The rutland grey l shape suits staircases where LVT or click vinyl runs up the treads. In particular, blue-grey floors are a popular choice in UK new builds and renovations, and a matching stair nosing keeps the finish consistent from floor to staircase. It works on both straight and turned staircases where the tread width allows for direct bonding. No fixing track is used with this profile.
Remember to measure twice, cut once. A chopsaw or jigsaw cuts the L Shape cleanly to length. Always wear eye protection when cutting. The Rutland Grey L Shape then fits without a fixing track. Bond it directly to the stair tread using strong adhesive. Otherwise, glue and pin (recommended) for extra hold. Press each piece firmly into position and allow the adhesive to set fully before use.
The Rutland Grey L Shape comes in 2.2m only. One 2.2m length covers the full width of most UK domestic staircases. Furthermore, the full waterproof vinyl stair nosing range covers over 60 colours if Rutland Grey is not the right match.
