The Lyme Oak Waterproof Nosing suits LVT and click vinyl stair treads at the nosing edge. A warm, yellowy-orange oak with faint brown hints running through the surface, and visible knot character on some bars. The grain pattern can make some bars appear slightly different to others – this is normal variation within the colour. 55mm wide, 3.8mm above the tread and 18mm total height. Comes in 2.2m only with a fixing track included.

The lyme oak waterproof nosing is a warm yellowy-orange oak stair nosing for LVT and click vinyl stairs. A warm, yellowy-orange oak with faint brown hints running through the surface, and visible knot character on some bars. A pale, lymed quality sits through the grain in places. Bars vary in how strongly this comes through – some show more character and movement than others. A 100% waterproof WPC core runs through the full depth of the bar. The bar measures 55mm wide, sits 3.8mm above the tread and has a total height of 18mm.
The lyme oak nosing suits staircases where LVT or click vinyl runs up the treads. In particular, warm yellowy-orange oak floors are a popular choice in UK new builds and renovations, and a matching stair nosing keeps the finish consistent from floor to staircase. The 100% waterproof WPC core suits bathroom and utility room stairs without issue. In addition, the waterproof vinyl L shape range carries this colour in the L-shape profile.
Remember to measure twice, cut once. Use a chopsaw or jigsaw to cut the lyme oak nosing to length. Always wear eye protection when cutting. The fixing track is included in the pack, however for stairs, bonding and pinning gives a more secure fix. Apply a strong adhesive to the tread and press the nosing firmly into position. Pin through the bar while the adhesive sets to hold it in place.
CSPC709 comes in 2.2m only. Typically you’ll get two standard stair treads out of one 2.2m length. Furthermore, the full waterproof vinyl stair nosing range covers over 60 colours if Lyme Oak is not the right match. If none of those suit either, the laminate stair nosing range offers a few more options in a similar profile (not waterproof).
