The Hampton Grey L Shape suits LVT and click vinyl floors on stairs. It wraps over the front edge of each tread and drops down the riser face below. A more open, pronounced vertical grain runs across the face with visible variation between lighter and darker grain lines. The tone sits at the lighter end of grey with a clean, cool character. At 21mm wide, it sits 3mm above the tread surface with an 11mm external drop on the riser face and an 8mm internal drop. Overall, a 100% waterproof WPC core runs through the full depth of the profile.
This WPC L shape nosing suits staircases in hallways, entrance areas and utility spaces across the UK. In particular, cool grey LVT stairs are a popular choice in UK new builds and renovations, making Hampton Grey a practical match for a wide range of staircase installations. Each piece protects the front tread edge from wear and impact while covering the join between tread and riser. The 100% waterproof WPC core suits staircases where moisture is a regular factor. Specifically, the wood effect self-adhesive door bars cover a similar colour range for peel-and-stick options at doorway thresholds.
The Hampton Grey L Shape fits without a fixing track. Bond it directly to the stair tread using a strong flooring adhesive. Additionally, press each piece firmly into position and allow the adhesive to set fully before use. Finally, use a chopsaw or jigsaw to cut to length.
The Hampton Grey L Shape comes in 2.2m only. One 2.2m length covers the full width of most UK domestic staircases. Meanwhile, the full waterproof vinyl L shape range covers over 60 colours if Hampton Grey is not the right match.
