Description & Downloads

The Gold Single Naplock is a carpet edge bar that holds the cut edge of a carpet firmly in place where carpet meets a hard floor. It grips the carpet edge on one side, screw fixes to the subfloor, and gives a clean, secure finish that prevents the carpet from lifting, fraying, or curling at the edge.

When To Use a Gold Single Naplock

The Gold Single Naplock is the right bar for carpet-to-hard-floor joins where there is a height difference between the two surfaces. The most common situations are a doorway where carpet meets tiles, laminate, or vinyl on the other side, or where carpet meets original floorboards. One side grips the carpet edge securely while the base sits flat on the subfloor. Unlike a Z-bar, the single naplock grips from one side only – if you need to hold carpet on both sides of a join, see the double naplock in the carpet bars range.

Finish and Colour

The gold anodised aluminium finish coordinates with gold door handles, hinges, and hardware throughout the room. If your fittings are silver, the same bar is available in silver aluminium.

Lengths and Cutting

Available in 0.9m and 2.7m. The 0.9m suits most standard doorways. The 2.7m can be cut down with a hacksaw or mitre saw to any length you need and is the better choice if you have multiple doorways to cover or a wider than average opening.

 Fitting a Single Naplock

Screw fix the base to the subfloor, then press the carpet edge firmly under the grip profile. No track required. The aluminium profile is hardwearing and holds its finish without corroding or discolouring over time.
