Kingfisher Slate Waterproof Stair Nosing

The kingfisher slate waterproof nosing is a dark charcoal grey stair nosing for LVT and click vinyl stairs. A natural oak grain runs through in subtle lighter and darker tones, set against a very dark, near-charcoal grey base. The overall effect is a rich, textured, dramatic dark floor. A 100% waterproof WPC core runs through the full depth of the bar. The bar measures 55mm wide, sits 3.8mm above the tread and has a total height of 18mm.

Where to Fit the Kingfisher Slate Waterproof Nosing

The kingfisher slate nosing suits staircases where LVT or click vinyl runs up the treads. In particular, dark charcoal grey floors are a popular choice in UK new builds and renovations, and a matching stair nosing keeps the finish consistent from floor to staircase. Fitting and Cutting

Remember to measure twice, cut once. Use a chopsaw or jigsaw to cut the kingfisher slate nosing to length. Always wear eye protection when cutting. The fixing track is included in the pack, however for stairs, bonding and pinning gives a more secure fix. Apply a strong adhesive to the tread and press the nosing firmly into position. Pin through the bar while the adhesive sets to hold it in place.

Lengths and Colour Matching

CSPC705 comes in 2.2m only. Typically you’ll get two standard stair treads out of one 2.2m length. Furthermore, the full waterproof vinyl stair nosing range covers over 60 colours if Kingfisher Slate is not the right match.
