Scotia is used to obscure the expansion gap left around the edge of the room where an engineered wood or laminate floor has been laid. Scotia is not necessary if the skirting board has been removed and refitted after the flooring has been laid as this already does the job of obscuring the expansion gap. However, this is often not the case as it increases the cost of fitting.
Our exclusive 15mm scotia come in 17 colourways that exactly match our laminate door bars. The scotia comes in 240cm lengths and are of the very best quality. Our Scotia edging trims are also available in lacquered oak and unfinished which can be stained to match any floor.
